Forget your classic WordPress content editor. This will change the way you create content for your site.

This theme uses the Visual Composer for WordPress plugin.

Visual Composer for WordPress will save you tons of time working on the site content. Now you’ll be able to create complex layouts within minutes! It’s build on top of the modern technologies – get the best for your lovely website!

Activation

Whenever there's a content editor, you can turn it to Visual Composer. Just look for this button:

When you turn Visual Composer on, you'll be able to create and edit content with simple Drag&Drops.
You'll see two buttons: Add element and Templates

Elements

We've included lots of components. The ones you really should look for, are the Layout elements. These are basically grid pre-settings.

For example, you want to build 2 columns with text on the left and an image on the right. Choose the element 1/2 + 1/2.
Then inside each column, enter your content. This is a very easy way to compose simple or complex layouts. Give it a try!

There's also some more components like slideshow's, buttons, tabs, lists, etc.

The row

You can set a lot of options per row. This gives you an incredible array of possibilities to customize your site.

You'll be able to set background images and colors, define text color, CSS animations, paddings and the ability to make the row full height, which means it will be out of the site container and fill the browser width.

You can create beautiful pages. With just a few clicks.

Besides the Visual Composer to build solid and great pages, there's also a few settings that you can use to customize your pages.

Templates

If you want to create special pages, you need to set a template for that page.

Special pages are:

  • Contact
  • Blank Page
  • Blog
  • Footer
  • Portfolio
  • Welcome Page

Just select the template from the Template drop-down that is located in the Page Attributes box. Each template can trigger new page options.

Page settings

Show page on site

Check this option if you want to reveal the page in the one page. Uncheck it if you want to hide it.

Full height

If you check this option, the page will fill the entire browser window.

Padding

By default every page do not have paddings, you can set them per page.

Background Settings

You can add a Video, a single image or a slideshow gallery to each page. You can also add a mask by adding a background color with opacity. If you want a parallax, just check the option and it will add a neat effect to your background.

Page order

You can easily change the page order without edit every single page manually. Just drag and drop the page list as pictured below:

Footer

In this theme, the footer is created from a page and not a sidebar as it is common.

This gives you more freedom to create your footer structure and using some of our shortcodes. Just create a page and set its template as Footer and it will appear on the bottom of your site.

Select 'Portfolio' in the page settings template option

Categories

It's very important to start to add some categories to your portfolio.
Create the categories you need and assign them to the item you are creating.

Featured Image

The featured image is the image that will appear on the work's list. You should always add one.

Media

The portfolio comes with a simple but powerful Media Manager. You can add your images easily.

Create, edit or delete team elements in the team module (right menu)

You will be able to define the team role, and social networks for each team element.

To display the team, you just need to add the Team shortcode to your page/post:

The Shortcode

You can set a bunch of options when displaying your team.

If you want to target a specific team element, just set its ID.

Create, edit or delete clients

Easily get your site translated.

This theme makes use of PO/MO files to manage translations.

We recommend the plugin Codestyling Localization to make the process easy.

You can manage and edit all gettext translation files (*.po/*.mo) directly out of WordPress Admin Center without any need of an external editor.

We ship the theme with English and Portuguese files. You may want to add your language. After creating it (refer to the plugin documentation in order to learn how to create a new language), you need to set the locale in the wp_config.php file.

If you want your site with multilingual support, we recommend the WPML plugin.

Our theme is WPML ready and optimized.

If you need your website translated, we suggest you to take a look at ICanLocalize for professional translators.
